Are you eager to put your drive and ambition to work in a dynamic, result-driven environment?Do you want to be a main actor in the most innovative business segment?Are you excited by the most advanced technologies and their groundbreaking applications?If so, then you have a chance to join Advantest, the market leader company in the semiconductor test business, in the team that is defining the application solutions of the future, supporting customers in turning their emerging test requirements into competitive and profitable solutions.This is an ideal position for a motivated engineering professional with interests in the field of testing semiconductor ICs.Building on your professional experience in electrical measurements and software engineering, you will learn the implementation of cost-efficient test solutions on the Advantest V93000 IC test system, for complex semiconductor devices for various business segments with a focus on high-performance computing and AI.You will work as a consultant, educating and supporting worldwide users to test ICs of future AIs, mobile phones, computers, servers, cars etc.You will deal with cutting-edge technology in close collaboration with the R&D department, the Marketing department, and the customers in a cross-functional environment.Your focus:Provide expert technical support for Advantest's V93000 test system and emerging applications to account teams and customers throughout the different regions of the worldDirectly work with customers to support their engineering and production activities, including consultancy, test development, both in a remote setup or on-siteIntroduce innovative solutions and new products to world-wide customers.Contribute to pre-sales activities: for example, present to customers technical details of solutions or support account teams in benchmark projects, so that customers opt for Advantest's V93000 test system.Identify and address emerging test requirements for testing cutting-edge devices and provide consulting on these requirements and on application related topics to the teams defining new productsGenerate training material and deliver training to users of Advantest's V93000 test systemDuring the first 6 months, you will be attending a thorough onboarding program together with other peers to expand your knowledge of semiconductor test and the Advantest V93000 product portfolio, as well as to closely interact with other functions such as R&D and marketing. Subsequently, an on-the-job-training phase will be guided and coached by a personal mentor to prepare you for a technical consultant role in an optimal way. QualificationsBachelors, Master´s or University Degree or equivalentProfessional experience in electronic measurements and software developmentLinux knowledge and Java programming skillsOther programming languages (C++, Perl, Python, JavaScript) are also a plusFamiliar with the Microsoft Windows OS and Office SW suiteExcellent English language & communication skillsProactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivatedWillingness to travel (< 40%),regular stays in the US are necessary; business trips should be easy to arrangeGood team playerSelf-reflected with a positive can-do attitude and good sense of humorAbility to set priorities based on actual customer needs, defined strategies, and management directionsKnowledge in testing semiconductor devices (preferred)Basic German language skills (preferred)
