Data Analyst / Metadata / Avaloq
vacancy for our Frankfurt based client in the Banking sector.

Your Tasks

  • Gather information regarding data requirements, business definitions, and data structures from various stakeholders.
  • Elaborate data dictionaries for selected tables of the main application following bank standards.
  • Document data models and authoritative data sources, including data flows.
  • Provide an overview of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for specific data domains.
  • Collaborate with the central data management team for the validation and upload of metadata into the Enterprise Data Catalogue.
  • Conduct small scale data analysis supporting reconciliations and the evaluation of data quality.

Your Experience/knowledge

  • BSc/BA diploma preferable in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • Proven working experience in data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in metadata management.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools such as Collibra.
  • Knowledge of data modelling tools such as Hackolade.
  • Knowledge of data visualisation software such as Tableau.
  • Language skills: German (Business fluent, native language), English (Business fluent, native language).
