Your Role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced student who loves to test, break, hack, analyse, and secure systems. This is a startup environment, therefore you must be able to explore independently, think creatively, and find loopholes that others may miss. Your work includes practical penetration testing, research-level attacks, and designing ways to detect and prevent them. All testing is performed strictly on authorized internal systems in a controlled environment.

Your Tasks

  • Perform penetration testing using attack vectors found in online resources, CVE databases, and security research papers.
  • Find loopholes, weak points, and unexpected behaviours in the system.
  • Try both practical attacks and high-level research-style attacks.
  • Experiment with all major attack categories: network, authentication, misconfigurations, protocol misuse, API abuse, and practical attack methods.
  • Analyse logs and system behaviour to understand how attacks can be detected.
  • Help design countermeasures, monitoring ideas, and detection methods.
  • Document clearly what was tested, how it was tested, and the results.
  • Optional: support small tasks related to embedded or hardware security.

You Must Have

  • Real hands-on experience with penetration testing or cybersecurity work.
  • Ability to use standard security testing tools.
  • Good understanding of Linux, networks, and common vulnerabilities.
  • Ability to research attacks, reproduce them, and analyse their behaviour.
  • A proactive mindset — able to explore and test without constant instructions.
  • Basic experience with Git for version control (pull, commit, branch, merge).

Good to Have

  • Experience with firmware security, embedded systems, or hardware-level security.
