More about us: Reporting to the Senior Director R&D, theSenior Project Manageris responsible for the project management of new product development and sustaining efforts within the R&D organization and in partnership with the cross-functional departments across Hach. This includes coordination of the global cross-functional team members' activities to meet the design requirements, schedule, and production readiness, while also serving as the primary project communication link between R&D and other company departments. The Senior Project Manager will assume responsibility and accountability for meeting product development requirements, fulfilling product definition, meeting product and project cost goals, quality objectives, and time-to-market objectives.This position is part of the Hach R&D Team, located in Berlin and will be hybrid.In this role, a typical day will look like:Responsible for the development and maintenance of programs that lead to product conception, definition, design, and release to manufacturing.Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project schedules and budgets.Facilitate development efforts by team members at various company facilities.Obtain and assign human and financial/capital resource requirements to ensure successful development projects.Is responsible either directly or indirectly for all project management requirements.Organize and actively participate in design reviews and project phase change reviews.Utilize and help improve systems. Adhere to quality system requirements in the development of new products.Communicate necessary meeting attendance to team members.Generate project status reports as necessary.Develop and foster contacts with customers, technical experts, dealers, sales people, and regulatory agencies.The essential requirements of the job include:Experienced in a product development, engineering, or manufacturing environment preferred, with direct experience of product development.Broad understanding of products and processes, including design, manufacturing, and market use of products.PMP certification is desired if complementary to above experience.Working knowledge of new product development methodologies.Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of, and adherence to a project schedule.Hach is proud to part of the Water Quality segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
