We are looking for you to join our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity

Your new job includes
As Accountant Accounts Payable (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the proper and timely processing of all incoming documents and ensure optimal processes. In particular, you will

  • check, assign for account, forward and post incoming invoices
  • set up, monitor and carry out recurring postings
  • reconcile and clarify accounts with external suppliers and internal departments such as Purchasing
  • work confidently with internal and external interfaces
  • ensure optimal processes and analyse possible improvements
  • Preparatory month-end and year-end closing activities

Preferred Profile

  • Successfully completed commercial training and two to three years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with knowledge of statutory requirements for VAT in the accounts payable area
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experienced with SAP modules FI and MM, as well as knowledge of OpenText VIM
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Structured, independent, and responsible working style
  • Commitment, team spirit, and strong communication skills
