About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
VP Production & Logistics
to take full responsibility for our operational activities in Germany. This role is central to ensuring execution of our ambitious production and logistics transformation as well as seamless day-to-day operations within a dynamic and fast paced environment.

As the
VP Production & Logistics Germany
, you will balance hands-on involvement with a strategic perspective, continuously shaping, improving, and scaling our processes. You will report to the CPLO and work closely with our internal teams, suppliers and service providers to drive efficiency, reliability, and excellence in our operations.

You will be fully responsible for the operations at our five sites, while ensuring successful execution of cross-site integration projects and operational improvements. You will lead our site directors and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process efficiency and manage risks. Another important task will be to ensure cost-effective integration strategies and optimize operational expenses.

Tasks

• End-to-end responsibility for financial performance (cost centers), service level and safety of our German production & logistics operations
• Operational leadership of our site directors/operations managers
• Daily coordination and monitoring of production, warehouse and logistics operations together with local team leads
• Identifying, recommending and executing of cross-site integration and transformation projects
• Developing proposals for and overseeing of CapEx investments across our German footprint
• Structuring, planning and recruiting the necessary internal resources (HR) and planning requirements for external resources
• Identifying & leveraging efficiency potential through standardization and automation of physical and IT-based processes
• Defining, measuring & analyzing all relevant internal & external KPIs in terms of SLA achievement, process efficiency, productivity and volume management

Profile

• Completed technical or business studies
• 2+ years of successful professional experience being responsible for production and/or logistics operations in a high-pace environment
• Previous experience from strategy consulting at one of tier 1 or 2 firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, Strategy&, Roland Berger)
• Proven experience leading large scale projects from planning to execution
• Fluent in German & English, additional European languages are beneficial
