A global digital transformation partner is seeking an experienced
Business Development Director (f/m/x)
to drive new business across the
automotive and mobility ecosystem
in Germany. This is a senior, strategic hunter role focused on expanding enterprise accounts within OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, EV charging and mobility operators, leasing companies, and smart city ecosystems.

The Role

As
Business Development Director
, you'll own the full sales cycle - driving complex IT service deals and long-term partnerships within the automotive and mobility sector. You'll translate technical capabilities (custom software development, cloud-native transformation, data & AI, and managed services) into clear business value for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a focused business development strategy across the German automotive and mobility market.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with OEMs, Tier-1s, and mobility solution providers.
  • Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles: prospecting, needs analysis, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders (C-level, Procurement, IT, and Business Units) to position your company as a trusted digital partner.
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Consulting, and Delivery teams to shape and close high-impact deals.
  • Leverage alliances with global technology partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, SAP, Salesforce).
  • Maintain CRM discipline, accurate forecasting, and structured pipeline reviews (e.g., MEDDICC).

Your Profile

  • Proven success selling
    complex IT or digital transformation services
    into the
    automotive/mobility sector
    .
  • Experience working with
    OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or mobility operators
    .
  • Strong understanding of solution-based and consultative selling.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers and managing complex procurement cycles.
  • Background in
    IT services, consulting, or technology-driven automotive organizations
    .
  • Fluency in
    German and English
    is essential.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven mindset with a focus on pipeline ownership and new logo acquisition.
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with
    E/E architectures, automotive data ecosystems (e.g., Catena-X), or IT infrastructure projects
    .
