BABLE was
founded in 2017
as a 
spin-off from the Fraunhofer Research Society
with the goal to create a digital knowledge exchange around smart city topics. This newly created platform was to enable city governments to find the right technologies that can improve the quality of life for their citizens.

The impact of this platform and the following projects BABLE undertook in the years since its foundation increasingly helped to 
build a missing bridge between the public and private sector
. In the last years the expansion from having just a knowledge platform to additionally having a fully distributed team of over 40 experts has enabled BABLE to build a proven track record with impactful projects with key players in the smart city field

We are looking for a full-time Commercial intern to start as soon as possible

What you will do:

You will work closely with Head of Growth and Strategy in the unit for digital tools. We develop and sell our own digital tools. This is one of the most innovative topics we have. It combines Business Development, AI, Customer Success and Product development. More precisely you support in the following tasks:

·      Tender Management (TM):

o  Create search profiles

o  Identify and prepare tenders for clients

o  Support onboarding processes for new users

·      Customer Success:

o  Help resolve client questions quickly and clearly

o  Provide hands-on support for delivery projects in the German B2Gov market

o  Collect Customer Feedback for Product Improvement

·      Sales Enablement:

o  Build prospect lists and campaigns in HubSpot

o  Support outreach activities

What you'll do (Future)

·      Work with our new CIM tool (currently under development) — testing, using it with clients, and shaping its future.

·      Take on more responsibility across sales, product, or development — depending on your path.

You will be part of the Team Companies based in Stuttgart.
Travel time approx. 0-10%.

Your profile

Must have:

·      At least 1 year of work experience or relevant study experience

·      Proficiency in the English language (Professional proficiency)

· You must be a native German speaker

·      Very proactive mentality – Try, fail, learn, succeed.

·      Strong initiative and proactive communication style

·      Ability to both give and receive feedback openly, in a honest and transparent working style

·      Comfortable using digital tools (HubSpot, Jira, and our in-house platforms)

·      Organised and reliable in executing tasks

Nice-to-haves

·      Interest in GovTech, Smart Cities, or B2Gov markets

·      Interest in B2B AI Tools

·      First experience with business development, customer success, or sales tools
