The opportunity

We are looking for a motivated intern (m/f/d) to actively support our Department Grid Automation in Mannheim in the order handling processes.  

How you'll make an impact

  • You support our customers by helping them get the products they need
  • You handle order confirmations based on customer purchase orders and enter them into our SAP system
  • You manage internal purchasing, track order confirmations from our factory, and coordinate monthly shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • You take care of monthly billing and invoicing to meet sales and cashflow targets
  • You ensure all processes follow internal and external rules and guidelines
  • You live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility and supporting your team

Your background

  • Ideally, you have a commercial education
  • You're comfortable with Excel and Outlook – and if you know SAP/S4 Hana, even better
  • You learn fast, take ownership, and get things done
  • You've got a good level of English and enjoy working in an international team
