If so, we have the perfect internship opportunity for youAs an intern in NPC assay formats (Near Patient Care RED Chapter- NPC RED), you will have the opportunity to be a part of an innovative, and a global team. The NPC RED Chapter is located in Mannheim and develops innovative diagnostic solutions for near-patient testing. We work together with departments from Research & Development, Diagnostics Production, Business Development and the Life Cycle Teams.Your tasksScreening of patents, literature, and clinical studies relevant to the projectExploring novel consumer and medical-grade wearables for their usability and data potential.Actively contribute to data collection and perform advanced data analysis.Providing regular updates to cross-functional team of clinical scientists, biomarker experts, data scientists, and IVD expertsWho you areWe are looking for an individual who is inspired by our mission and would fit in well with the collaborative and dynamic culture of our company.To be successful in this role, you are (and have):Currently enrolled in a Master's program in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on Machine Learning)High interest and thorough technical knowledge of how digital wearables (consumer wearables/medical grade wearables) detect, analyze, and transmit information of body metricsSkilled in handling large data volumes and turn raw numbers into actionable insights.Proficient in data analysis software (e.g., R, MATLAB, Python, SAS).Skilled in writing (reports, documentation, SOPs)A fast learner with a strong work ethic and a meticulous attention to detailFluent in EnglishExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassionate about innovation and improving healthcare through technologyYour benefitsFlexible working hours (37.5 hours/week)2,092 Euro per month for a full-time internship > 3 monthsDiscounted meal prices (- 50%) in our staff canteenSport Center on campusOnline/Offline student networking events  Your applicationAlong with your CV/resume, please provide a cover letter (maximum 350 words) describing your suitability for the position.Please remember that this internship is aimed at students (m/f/d) who are currently enrolled for the entire period of the internship or, alternatively, at people in a gap year of a maximum of one year (between Bachelor's and Master's studies), where it can be proven in writing at which university/college and exactly when (month/year) within a year the studies will be continued.Period: from February 2026 for a period of 6 months.We are looking forward to your applicationYour contact to us With people.
