WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Owning control plane and node pools
  • Installing and managing NVIDIA Operator, CSI drivers, ingress/WAF integrations
  • Implementing Cluster Autoscaler/ Karpenter, taints/tolerations, topology spread, GPU scheduling to hit latency and throughput SLOs
  • Authorizing runbooks and playbooks, performing DR drills and backup/restore tests, keep rollback paths fast and well-rehearsed
  • Defining SLIs/SLOs, building dashboards, tuning alerts, and driving capacity/scheduling optimization for cost and performance
  • Working with security/DevOps to enforce admission controls (OPA/Gatekeeper), signature/SBOM verification, default-deny egress, and secret management patterns.
  • Participating in a sensible rotation, lead incident response, and conduct postmortems that turn into meaningful, automated fixes

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in SRE/Platform/Ops roles and operating Kubernetes in a production
  • Experience with GPU-enabled clusters and the constraints of scheduling/driver stacks
  • Strong Linux fundamentals as well as Helm/Operators and Terraform
  • Familiarity with GPU stack and Security Controls
  • Proven experience with Prometheus, Grafana and at least one log stack
  • Storage & data plane know-how as well as experience with Karpenter and Chaos/DR tools and practices
  • Very good knowledge of English written and spoken, German as a plus
