Territory Sales Manager

We are supporting the build of a new commercial team in Germany as part of a transition from a distributor-led model to a direct sales structure. With a National Sales Manager recently appointed and several Territory Managers already onboard, we are now seeking additional senior sales professionals to drive growth in key regions.

The Role

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will:

  • Manage and lead your region to achieve sales objectives and drive adoption.
  • Build strong business relationships and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Focus primarily on Orthopaedics, with opportunities in wound care (diabetic foot ulcers / tissue viability).
  • Implement national and regional strategies to accelerate growth.
  • Work closely with surgeons, clinicians, and hospitals to establish advocates and expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with marketing and clinical research teams to define product positioning and support regulatory submissions.

Although titled "Territory Manager," this is a
strategic sales management role
with significant responsibility for shaping business growth and influencing clinical practice.

The right person will:

  • Have at least 5 years' sales experience in the medical device industry (orthopaedics preferred; wound care also relevant).
  • Possess a strong, current network in Germany within the last 2–3 years.
  • Demonstrate a track record of achieving sales growth and budget targets.
  • Are confident communicators, able to influence surgeons, clinicians, and procurement stakeholders.
  • Are driven, ethical, resilient, and resourceful, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Are comfortable presenting to groups of clinicians and supporting product use in operating theatres.
