Senior Strategic Sales / Regional Business Manager – Germany (Orthopaedics & Infection Therapy)

Are you a high-performing medical device sales professional ready to take the next step? We're looking for a
strategic, consultative sales leader
to own and grow a German region during an exciting transition from distributor-led to direct sales. This is
not your average territory role
- you'll shape clinical practice, build KOL relationships, and drive adoption of clinically meaningful products.

What you'll do:

  • Take full ownership of a defined region, converting distributor-managed accounts to direct relationships.
  • Build strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, clinical microbiologists, procurement teams, and theatre staff.
  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive clinical advocacy and peer-to-peer influence.
  • Deliver budgeted sales growth across orthopaedics, podiatry, soft tissue, and wound care.
  • Become a subject matter expert in infection therapies and advanced biomaterials, presenting clinical rationale, health economics, and patient outcome improvements.
  • Navigate distributor-to-direct handovers with diplomacy and resilience.

Who we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of medical device or hospital sales experience (orthopaedics or wound care strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of strategic territory management and budget achievement.
  • Experience with consultative, long-cycle selling and KOL development.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, clinical teams, and product development.
  • Autonomous, resilient, and commercially minded.
