About the position

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Affairs Manager to support the development and execution of our Corporate Affairs strategy across the DACHIT region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy). Reporting directly to the Corporate Affairs Director, this role plays a key part in enhancing Flora Food Group's reputation, stakeholder engagement, and communications impact in a complex and evolving business environment.

You will play a hands-on role in both strategic initiatives and operational execution, demonstrating a breadth of diverse experiences and capabilities. This includes:

Key Responsibilities

• In partnership with the Corporate Affairs Director, contribute to the external communications and stakeholder engagement strategy, identifying opportunities to elevate key brands and strengthen Flora Food Group's reputation across the cluster.

• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans, particularly with key opinion leaders, consumer organizations, NGOs, and industry bodies.

• Provide strategic counsel to marketing teams on communications opportunities to amplify brand visibility, while proactively addressing issues that could impact brand reputation.

• Assist in crisis and issue management, ensuring timely and effective communication responses.

• Create compelling content for internal and external channels

• Manage relationships with PR and communications agencies, ensuring quality delivery and alignment with brand and reputation goals.

• Oversee budget tracking and administrative coordination for corporate affairs activities.

• Monitor public policy developments and media trends to inform strategic planning.

• Foster quality and consistency in internal and external communications to drive business results and mobilize the Flora Foodies and support organization of internal events

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

• 5+ years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or communications, ideally within the food/FMCG sector and/or matrix organizations.

• Strong writing and storytelling skills in both German (native-level) and English (fluent).

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, media relations, and agency management.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.

• Proven ability to lead through influence and strategic partnership.

• High level of professionalism, discretion, resilience, and a hands-on mentality.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Political Science, or related field.
