Your tasks

As an AI Engineer at Assemblio, you develop the intelligent components that power our SaaS platform. You build secure, stable, and reliable AI systems that create real value for our users. Together with Product, Design, and Engineering, you bring new AI features from the first prototype all the way to production. By leveraging modern AI technologies, automation, and continuous improvement, you actively shape the technical future of our product.

  • build robust AI components and integrate LLMs into our backend (TypeScript, Python).
  • monitor and optimize the reliability, performance, and cost of our AI systems.
  • transform raw data into intelligent, usable information and prepare data for model training.
  • collaborate with product managers and designers on AI prototypes and bring them to production together with the engineering team.
  • develop evaluation metrics for AI features and automate internal workflows using AI agents.
  • build new MCP tools and API endpoints to enhance our web application.

Your Skills

  • Several years of experience in AI/ML engineering, LLM application development, or data/backend engineering (Python or TypeScript).
  • Strong programming skills in
    Python
    and
    JavaScript/TypeScript
    .
  • Experience with modern AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, MCP) and with building end-to-end pipelines from prototype to production.
  • Knowledge of
    LLMs
    , embeddings, retrieval pipelines, or vector databases.
  • Ability to build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of security, data privacy, and reliability considerations in AI systems.
  • Optional: experience with 3D/CAD, computer vision, computer graphics, or common 3D libraries (e.g., , WebGL), as well as familiarity with DevOps, containerization, or GPU workflows.
  • A team-oriented, structured, and solution-driven working style, with enthusiasm for new technologies.
  • Excellent English skills; German skills are a plus.
