About Exaring AGOur platform offers IPTV live streaming: Free TV, Pay TV, NewTV, Video-on-Demand, recordings, restart, and timeshift – all in a single app on a wide range of devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and TVs (FireTV, Apple TV, Smart TVs, and our own stick).At Exaring AG, we operate the entire platform and handle the complete process: from video encoding to delivering streams to over a million customers across Germany.What you'll be doingOur Site Reliability Engineers ensure everything runs smoothly. Due to our growth, we seek experienced talent to help take our service infrastructure to the next level, build new solutions, and optimize existing services for our TV streaming platform.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement software that improves the stability, scalability, availability, and latency of Work with your team to solve problems in our highly available production systems and develop solutions and automation to prevent future incidents.Take ownership of services and be responsible for the architecture of our central Kubernetes platform.Monitor the health of your systems and handle outages as needed.Support our teams in building microservices using CNCF projects (Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTracing, gRPC) for our production infrastructure.Your ProfileSolid experience with containers and operating Kubernetes clusters.Hands-on experience with automation using Terraform.Proven experience in designing and implementing REST or gRPC APIs.Good software development skills, preferably in Go.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or GCE).Extensive experience in building, operating, and maintaining complex and scalable systems.In-depth knowledge of Linux administration, troubleshooting, and networking.Good proficiency in spoken and written German or English.Availability for once-per-quarter trips to the main office in MunichWhat we offerThe position can be based in Munich or remote within Germany.An exciting product with millions of users.A modern tech stack (find our tech stack here: Tech-Stack).Work in a genuinely agile environment.Highly scalable platform (>TBps scale).Ownership, responsibility, and a strong team that learns from and with each other.What to look forward toRemote-first work environment and home office.Flexible working hours.Regular team events such as mountain hikes.Personal learning budget for conferences, workshops, or further education.Comprehensive insurance package.30 vacation days per year.The Hiring ProcessWe offer a fast and transparent hiring process to make it as convenient as possible for you You will always have a point of contact to guide you through the process.Your interview process will look like this:Talent Screening | 30 minutes with our HRTechnical Interview | 60 minutesMeet the CTO | 30 minutes with NilsMeet the Team | 60 minutes with some of your future colleagues.We look forward to your application and to meeting you soon
