Junior Procurement Manager Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)
to join our fast-growing team in Hamburg.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in procurement operations:

• Prepare, process, and issue purchase orders and requisitions; analyze invoices for accuracy; and ensure adherence to procurement policies.

Vendor coordination and delivery tracking:

• Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery schedules; continuously monitor delivery progress; and resolve any discrepancies or delays.

Recordkeeping and system maintenance:

• Update supplier databases, charts, spreadsheets, and internal systems to reflect accurate procurement data.

Monitoring supplier performance:

• Track and assess supplier reliability for quality and timeliness; report issues or delays to the Procurement Manager.

Administrative support and documentation:

• Organize procurement documentation such as contracts, POs, delivery notes, and invoices; assist with filing, dashboards, or ERP systems.

Logistics and supply chain support:

• Coordinate logistics activities including transportation, warehouse coordination, and inventory tracking.

Invoicing & payment follow-up:

• Track and follow up on supplier invoices, ensuring they are submitted correctly and on time.

• Check procurement and finance systems for invoice approval status, resolve mismatches, and ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.

• Maintain an accurate register of all invoices and payments linked to procurement activities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Educational background: Bachelor's or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

• Technical skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/procurement software and financial systems preferred.

• Language skills: Strong proficiency in English for both written and spoken communication

• Soft skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational strength, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

• Experience preferences: Internship or coursework experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or administrative support. Logistics/supply chain background is an advantage.
