A global diagnostics company recognised for its leadership in autoimmune and immunology testing is seeking a Vice President of EMEA Marketing to lead both upstream and downstream marketing across the region.

This is a pivotal role that combines strategic portfolio management with hands-on commercial execution. The successful candidate will oversee regional product management and tactical marketing teams, ensuring that innovation, customer insight, and brand strategy are aligned to deliver measurable market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMEA marketing organisation spanning upstream product management and downstream tactical marketing.
  • Define portfolio strategy and lifecycle management for autoimmune and immunology products, aligned with global objectives.
  • Translate global product and brand strategy into regional marketing plans that drive adoption, awareness, and sales performance.
  • Partner with commercial, scientific, and operational teams to ensure consistent messaging and customer engagement across EMEA.
  • Oversee market intelligence, segmentation, and forecasting to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends.
  • Manage the development and performance of regional marketing managers, ensuring collaboration and best practice across all sub-regions.
  • Represent EMEA marketing at a global level, influencing wider strategic direction and contributing to product innovation planning.

Ideal Background

  • 10 plus years of marketing leadership in in vitro diagnostics with deep understanding of autoimmune or immunology markets.
  • Proven success leading both product management and downstream marketing teams across multiple geographies.
  • Strong grasp of diagnostic workflows including ELISA, IFA, and laboratory automation.
  • Experience translating complex scientific solutions into clear commercial value propositions.
  • Strategic, data driven, and confident operating in a matrixed global environment.
  • Track record of building collaborative teams that deliver both strategic insight and tactical execution.
