I am supporting one of the world's largest global suppliers of high-precision automotive components, working directly with leading OEMs including
VW, Mercedes, Porsche, and BMW
. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Quality Engineer
who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment and wants to progress within a stable, international organisation.

The Role

As a
Quality Engineer
, you will support day-to-day quality assurance in a fast-paced automotive production environment. You'll be highly present on the shop floor, resolving deviations quickly, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring customer requirements are met. The role combines hands-on problem solving, technical analysis, and close communication with production, suppliers, and OEM customers.

You will:

  • Be hands-on on the shop floor, investigating issues in real time.
  • Analyse quality deviations independently and take swift corrective action.
  • Support PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and process documentation.
  • Perform measurement checks, verify fixtures/gauges, and support metrology.
  • Conduct structured problem solving using
    8D, 5Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone
    .
  • Analyse production data and prepare concise reports and charts.
  • Keep customer portals and internal systems up to date with quality information.

Requirements

  • Automotive manufacturing quality experience (Tier-1 or Tier-2).
  • Strong knowledge of
    IATF 16949
    and certified in
    VDA 6.3.
  • Hands-on experience with
    8D, 5Why, Ishikawa
    , PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC.
  • Able to make
    independent
    decisions under pressure and react quickly.
  • Confident working with customer-specific requirements and documentation.
  • Engineering degree in a relevant field.
  • Fluent German (C1 minimum)
    and strong English communication skills.
