Description

This role involves estimating savings, paving the way for standardization by identifying positive outcomes, leading benchmarks, and deploying best practices. 

The Industrial Lead User will also agree with EPO – subcategory on new suppliers and follow the trials, maintain an exhaustive list of actions, initiate regular reviews with plants to ensure no roadblocks, track follow-up of savings, and warn in case of under-performance or backlog. 

Additionally, this role ensures that all levers for value creation are explored and formally gauges the business's sentiment towards users.

Profile:

  • Seniority in a maintenance position.
  • Good knowledge of steel-making processes.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, with strong communication skills, capacity for listening, and convincing without managerial links.

Specific Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading industrial projects and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to estimate savings and track performance.
  • Expertise in standardization processes and best practice deployment.
  • Familiarity with supplier management and trial follow-ups.
  • Ability to maintain detailed action lists and conduct regular reviews.
  • Proficiency in identifying and exploring value creation levers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to address under-performance and backlog issues.
