Currently we are looking for a

Logistics USA/DE Coordinator and Administrative Assistant (m/w/d) in part time

who is responsible for and supports daily logistics/export/import especially between the USA and Germany to optimize the business relation between Germany and the US.

Your mission
  • Creation of airbills through UPS platform for shipment inbound and outbound between USA/Germany.
  • Knowledge of paperless freight forwarding (a plus)
  • Tracking shipments between German/USA/North America Customers. 
  • Oversee day-to-day shipping/receiving operations.
  • Contact person for TEWS shipping managers in Hamburg, TEWS OF AMERICA customers and liaison between all interested parties
  • Administrative Assistant duties for US colleagues as needed.


Your profile
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or other commensurate degrees.
  • Knowledge of logistics customs classification Harmonizing System including Harmonizing tariff schedules, VAT, duties, USA sales tax, and USA tariff understanding.
  • Knowledge of paperless freight forwarding (a plus)
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce or experience in other CRM tool.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft platform
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak German and English (proficient). Spanish speaking a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
