Your mission
This role is the guardian of our quality and customer trust. The Quality Inspector is the final technical authority ensuring every part we ship meets the highest precision standards. They don't just find defects; they diagnose root causes and drive continuous improvement across our entire manufacturing network, making them critical to our reputation for excellence.

YOUR IMPACT

• Own the final say on quality – You are the last line of defense, ensuring every part that ships from MakerVerse meets the highest standards of precision and performance, directly protecting our customers from costly defects.
• Build trust through data – Your meticulous inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance become the trusted record that proves our quality to aerospace, medical, and automotive clients.
• Solve complex technical puzzles – You don't just find flaws; you investigate why they happened, working with suppliers to diagnose root causes and implement lasting solutions.
• Elevate our entire network – Your sharp eye and detailed feedback are crucial for coaching our manufacturing partners, lifting the quality bar across the entire MakerVerse supply chain.
• Champion continuous improvement – You turn inspection data into actionable intelligence, helping us streamline processes, reduce scrap, and build a smarter, more reliable quality system.

Your DNA

• A quality-obsessed specialist with engineering degree
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a precision manufacturing quality role (e.g., Mechanical Inspection, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality).
• Technologically fluent – You can read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, GD&T symbols, and understand the capabilities and limitations of manufacturing processes like CNC machining, 3D printing, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Metrology knowledge – Practical experience with inspection tools, from hand-held gauges (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to advanced systems (CMM, vision systems), would be an advantage.
• A data-driven problem-solver – You naturally use data to identify trends and aren't satisfied until you've found the root cause of a problem. Experience with CAPA and 8D methodologies is a strong plus.
• Uncompromisingly meticulous – Your attention to detail is exceptional. You thrive on precision and leave nothing to chance.
• A strong, clear communicator – You can articulate a quality failure to a supplier and explain a technical specification to an internal colleague with equal clarity.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken); German is a strong plus.
