Your tasks

  • Implements supplier quality assurance systems in the assigned region and plants in accordance with FMC's global guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for implementing and training the SOPs in the assigned plants.
  • Supports Procurement, Manufacturing, and R&D personnel in supplier qualification and product validation.
  • Ensures, with the support of Category Managers, that supplier quality agreements are distributed, discussed, and signed.
  • Ensures the monitoring of supplier performance and reports deviations or major issues to management.
  • Supports suppliers in process validation, risk management, and change management.
  • Follows up on suppliers' CAPA plans in case of poor performance and monitors the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Acts as lead auditor for second-party audits; defines and coordinates the audit team as needed.
  • Responsible for handling supplier complaints (nonconformity reports), fostering a problem-solving culture, and promoting the use of appropriate quality tools and methodologies.
  • Ensures the implementation of corrective and preventive actions at suppliers, with the support of local FMC quality control functions in Manufacturing and R&D.

Your profile

  • Successfully completed Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering with a focus on Quality Management, or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP requirements, and MDSAP
  • Experience in CAPA management, complaint handling, change control, and supplier audits
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with TrackWise and Windchill
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel
