We're entering our next growth phase and looking for a
Country Manager
to make Tribe the most visible and trusted recruiting partner in Berlin's tech ecosystem (with spillover into DACH and nearby hubs).

You'll build the network that opens doors through relationships, partnerships, events, and thoughtful, reputation-first outreach that converts community into revenue.

You'll report directly to leadership and work across the company to turn credibility into pipelines.

What You'll Do

Network & Ecosystem

  • Build and nurture a trusted network among
    VPs of Talent, People leaders, and founders
    in Berlin (with potential expansion into other German hubs, Amsterdam, London, Nordics).
  • Attend, co-host, and sponsor
    ~3-4 high-quality events per month
    (dinners, roundtables, meetups), plus
    weekly 1:1s and small-group dinners
    to keep the pipeline warm.
  • Collaborate closely with Tribe's marketing team to design local partnership and event strategies.
  • Represent Tribe's brand with authority and authenticity (clear story, useful intros, real follow-through).

Relationship-Led New Business

  • Identify and develop
    warm opportunities
    through your network and introductions.
  • Target
    funded startups (€50M–€500M raised)
    and
    enterprise tech/consumer brands
    .
  • Lead the full consultative process: from the first meeting to contract signature.
  • Maintain transparent forecasting and pipeline management in HubSpot.

Strategic Account Collaboration

  • Partner with Tribe's Delivery Directors to define client needs and scope proposals.
  • Ensure seamless client handover and onboarding post-close.
  • Spot opportunities for cross-sell and expansion in active clients.

Brand & Thought Leadership

  • Act as a
    visible Tribe ambassador
    in the Berlin ecosystem.
  • Collaborate on
    content, panels, and community partnerships
    with HR tech firms, VCs, and founders.
  • Co-create case studies and success stories that showcase client impact.

Build the System

  • Design and implement the structure behind the ecosystem: from event frameworks to partner databases and BD tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships, local sponsorships, and collaboration pipelines.
  • Create scalable processes that turn relationships and events into measurable business outcomes.

Who You Are

You're a
relationship-driven operator
who understands recruiting and knows how to turn trust into business.

Must-haves

  • Deep, existing network in the European People/Talent ecosystem (Berlin priority).
  • 7+ years in recruiting
    and
    2+ years in consultative B2B sales/partnerships
    or client leadership in recruiting/agency/RPO/HR/Professional services.
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders (CHROs, founders, VPs) with high EQ and credibility.
  • Proven ability to run events, navigate partnerships, and move opportunities from warm intro to signed agreement.
  • Strong ownership mindset; you thrive with autonomy and ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).

Nice-to-have

  • Experience selling
    €100k+
    services.
  • Understanding of
    embedded recruiting
    or
    talent delivery models.
  • Experience in executive search or embedded talent.
  • Familiarity with
    VC networks
    and startup funding dynamics.
  • CRM fluency (
    HubSpot
    or similar).
