We are hiring a Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin. 

Your Role

As Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting our growing business. You will provide legal guidance across various areas, ensuring compliance, minimizing risks, and supporting strategic decision-making. Your work will cover a broad variety of legal tasks contract management,  commercial law, data protection, intellectual property, and international legal topics. 

Your Responsibilities 

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with customers, partners, and suppliers Advise on commercial, and IT law, including software licensing Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including GDPR Support internal stakeholders on legal questions and risk assessments Collaborate with external counsel and manage legal projects Contribute to internal policies and training to strengthen compliance awareness 

You will be great for this position if you have 

A law degree (German Volljurist, Master Degree, or equivalent) with strong academic credentials Several years of professional experience as an in-house lawyer or in a law firm, preferably in the software/tech sector Strong knowledge of German and EU commercial and contract law; familiarity with IP and data protection law is a plus Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken) A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a pragmatic way Motivation to work in an international, fast-paced, and innovative environment We can also offer part-time work for at least 30 hours per week and would be particularly welcome applicants returning to work after parental leave.
