Description:

• Answer and direct incoming calls to proper departments
• Monitor code blue, fire, and gas alarm panels
• Alert staff of emergency codes via paging systems and overhead announcements
• Page on call physicians and medical staff when needed
• Document and log all codes and call activity daily
• up to 22 locations: Portugal, Italy, Russia, Netherlands, Belguim, United Kingdom,
• Provide operators fluent in English and the local language(s) or ensure access to translation services.( up to 22 locations: Portugal, Italy, Russia, Netherlands, Belguim, United Kingdom,Spain, France, Switerzland, Turkey, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Norway, Findland, Ireland, Bulgria, North Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, or Kosovo)
• Ensure operators have at least one (1) year of experience in customer service or telephone
  
  operator roles.
• Ensure operators demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and familiarity with embassy procedures.
• Maintain staffing levels sufficient to support fluctuating call volumes, including surge capacity during emergencies.

The switchboard is a 24-hour department that is manned at all times.

Holidays and other shifts are rotated to accommodate staffing needs.
