The HOLON Purchasing Team strives to establish a reliable and resilient partnership ecosystem in the field of autonomous driving, infotainment & connectivity as well as vehicle control systems to complement our company's R&D activities with the best possible solutions on the market.

The respective scope of responsibility is as follows:
 

  • Creating and owning the supply portfolio strategy in in the field of autonomous driving, automotive infotainment/connectivity and vehicle control systems
  • Scouting, selection and implementation of suitable supplier partners based on market analyses and competition benchmarks
  • Establishing sustainable and performant supplier relationships fostering reliability and innovation of our product's electronics and software architecture
  • Managing all procurement related activities in the product development cycle with focus of supplier's contribution to relevant project milestones  
  • Assessing (commercial, technical & quality) new supplier partners in collaboration with the R&D and Quality teams
  • Conducting supplier visits and audits to ensure continuous performance by our partners
  • Evaluating supplier offers regarding price, quality, delivery time and risk
  • Ensuring timely availability of materials and supplier deliverables throughout all project phases
  • Communication of market trends and purchasing strategies towards various internal stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing cost optimization potentials (Value Engineering)
  • Coordinating supplier specific escalations with affected internal stakeholders
Your profile

We are looking specifically for the following profile:
 

  • Completed (Master-) studies in one of the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in strategic and/or project purchasing functions preferably in the automotive and/or high tech electronics industry
  • Comprehensive technical understanding of complex electronic systems featuring embedded software functions and the respective development processes
  • Significant negotiation experience in complex and mile-stone-driven procurement settings in international contexts
  • Strong intercultural skills and availability for international and national business trips
  • Fluency in English language, further language skills are a plus
