// YOUR MISSION AT PICUS

Global team: You will collaborate with our global team to seek out and evaluate investment opportunities across different stages.

Thorough analyses: You will conduct comprehensive market and company analyses, including commercial and financial due diligence. This involves evaluating target markets, competition, trends, performance metrics, and business models to assess investment opportunities and risks.

Portfolio management: You will support and oversee portfolio companies across various stages and topics, including operations, marketing, sales, and strategic growth initiatives. Provide assistance with growth strategy, M&A, debt financing, and public market considerations.

Entrepreneurial Sparring: Identify, evaluate, and refine promising ventures and business models while working closely with potential founders. Establish and nurture long-term partnerships and cooperation opportunities, continuously seeking new business and market opportunities.

Analytical:

• You have a strong academic background with high academic success (top 10%).
• You have above-average financial analytical skills (modeling, accounting, etc.).
• Previously, you gathered first work experience in top-tier late-stage venture capital, growth equity, private equity, strategy consulting, or investment banking.
• You have a very good proficiency in English.

Understanding Market Trends: Sharpen your ability to evaluate businesses by building financial models, analyzing business strategies, and developing investment proposals.

Global network: Engage in conversations with exceptional founders, experts and other stakeholders in the tech ecosystem. As part of these efforts, you will build and maintain a valuable personal network across the globe.

Culture: We have an ambitious, entrepreneurial & caring company culture with very high standards, enabling you to take full responsibility early on. You will continuously interact with a global team, collaborate with colleagues across 7 offices and learn about each region's ecosystems.

Personal buddy: During the onboarding process you will receive a personal buddy at Picus who will provide guidance and support as part of regular buddy sessions.

Perks: Our interns meet on a monthly basis for an interns' regulars' table. Additionally, we also have regular monthly and seasonal team events.
