You can look forward to
- You are responsible for the acquisition, assessment and negotiation of facultative reinsurance offers from the US and London markets
- You are in charge of analyzing engineering offers
- Through regular market monitoring and competitor analyses, you contribute to the further development of our engineering portfolio
- You build sustainable relationships with our international business partners and meet them regularly on-site
- You work in interdisciplinary teams with the goal of continuously improving our underwriting processes and tools
- A successfully completed degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or Business Administration)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in underwriting with a focus on Engineering at a primary and/or reinsurance company
- Profound technical understanding as well as expertise in coverage concepts
- Knowledge of the London and/or US markets is desirable
- Business-fluent English combined with strong negotiation skills; additional language skills would be an advantage
- An international mindset and networking skills, as well as a willingness to travel regularly
