Wir suchen eine:n Senior Data Engineer(w/m/d) mit klarem Fokus auf Data Warehouses. 

Uns ist wichtig, wie Du im Team arbeitest: Wir suchen jemanden, der Wissen gerne teilt und gemeinsam mit anderen die beste Lösung findet. Du arbeitest in Deutschland eng mit unserem lokalen Data-Team. Und wenn es zum Projekt passt, vernetzt Du Dich auch mit Kolleg:innen aus anderen Nortal-Standorten – um skalierbare Datenplattformen zu entwickeln und Organisationen auf dem nächsten Schritt ihrer Data Journey zu begleiten.



Responsibilities

Deine Aufgaben

  • Entwicklung und Betrieb von Datenpipelines mit Python, SQL, Airflow und DBT
  • Optimierung von Datenpipelines, SQL-Queries und Performance in DWH Umgebungen
  • Sicherstellen von Codequalität, Testing und Dokumentation
  • Mitarbeit in agilen Projekten (Scrum oder Kanban)
  • Unterstützung bei der Einführung neuer Technologien und Tools
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Architekten, Analysten und Kunden


Qualifications

Dein Profil (Must-have)

  • Expert in Python, SQL und relationalen Datenbanken
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Airflow und DBT
  • Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit Data Warehouses sowohl on-prem als auch in der Cloud
  • Starke Kenntnisse in Performance-Optimierung, z. B. Query Tuning, Partitionierung, Caching, effiziente Datenmodelle
  • Praxis in Testing und Dokumentation von Data Models
  • Erfahrung in agilen Teams (Scrum oder Kanban)
  • Deutsche Sprache mind. C1 Level

Nice-to-have

  • Erfahrung in Mentoring von Kollegen
  • Sicheres Auftreten bei Kunden, Fähigkeit komplexe Inhalte verständlich zu kommunizieren
  • Interesse an neuen Technologien, Entwicklung von PoCs/Spikes
  • Kenntnisse in APIs/Microservices
  • Erfahrung mit Data-Lake-Technologien von Vorteil
  • Erfahrung mit Modellierung von Datenstrukturen (z. B. Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0) von Vorteil
