IT Operations Manager

Your mission
  • Responsibility for implementing IT
  • services to ensure the continuous availability of the IT infrastructure
  • Development and maintenance of service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitoring and analysis of IT services to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Proactive coordination and escalation of incidents (incident management) and ensuring rapid problem resolution 
  • Close cooperation with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth IT operations
  • Implementation and monitoring of IT security policies and processes in accordance with applicable standards (ISO 27001 and C5T2 advantageous)
Additional area of responsibility: Pre-sales & project support
  • Supporting sales in quotation situations relating to hosting and infrastructure
  • Providing technical advice on the design of individual customer solutions
  • Creating and maintaining sales support documents and presentations for hosting and IT services 
  • Assistance with calculating technical services and operating costs (e.g. cloud services, infrastructure, support levels)
  • Close coordination with product management and sales to further develop market-driven IT service offerings
  • Documentation and support in handing over new customer projects to the operations team and technical support in early implementation phases
Your profile
  • Completed degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training with relevant professional experience
  • Experience in using common ticketing and monitoring tools
  • Strong hands-on mentality 
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and assertiveness
  • Ability to work in a team, high level of commitment and organisational skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Very good written and spoken German (minimum language level C2)
  • Very good written and spoken English (minimum language level B2)
