The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Equipment Engineer – Electrochemical Plating (f/m/d) to lead tool planning and installation for our Black FabONE semiconductor fabrication facility. This role is crucial for establishing high-performance plating capabilities for advanced interconnect technologies.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing our plating capabilities, making a direct impact on the growth and success of our semiconductor manufacturing operations

Act as the plating equipment lead during facility setupDefine infrastructure needs such as chemical handling, plating bath systems, and safety complianceLead equipment selection, technical evaluation, and vendor management for plating toolsDrive tool installation, bring-up, and process qualificationImplement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliabilityProvide training and documentation for tool operation and safety

Your Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience with electrochemical plating equipment in a semiconductor fabProven hands-on experience with new tool installations, fab ramp-up, or expansion projectsStrong technical knowledge of electrochemical deposition, including bath chemistry, metal deposition uniformity, and plating cell hardware designFamiliarity with supporting infrastructure such as chemical delivery/return systems and safety/environmental protocolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to drive equipment reliability and yieldEffective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional, cleanroom-based teamsBachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
