We are expanding our sales team in Europe and seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Defence vertical. This role focuses on increasing revenue and market share across Ministries of Defence (MoDs), defence primes, and the broader Defence Industrial Base (DIB).

You will play a critical role in shaping Pexip's presence in the defence sector by building strategic relationships, navigating complex procurement processes, and delivering solutions that meet mission-critical requirements.

Location: Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, France - flexible within EMEA

Reports to: VP Sales Defence EMEA

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive adoption of secure video collaboration solutions within European defence organizations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market intelligence and existing networks.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across defence procurement, program teams, and system integrators.
  • Navigate complex procurement cycles and acquisition frameworks in highly regulated environments.
  • Collaborate internally with product and engineering teams to align solutions with defence program requirements.
  • Represent Pexip at industry events, trade shows, and defence technology forums to strengthen brand presence.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the defence sector, ideally focused on technology or secure communications.
  • Deep understanding of defence procurement processes and key decision-makers within MoDs and defence primes.
  • Proven track record of managing complex deals and navigating long sales cycles.
  • Knowledge of defence specific solutions,
    secure video collaboration technologies, cybersecurity principles, or adjacent ICT solutions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national/NATO security clearance (Secret or higher preferred).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
