Job Description
We are looking for a Software Architect, who builds up a meaningful healthcare software and enjoys combining hands-on technical depth with strategic thinking. As Software Architect you are comfortable at operating complex regulated environments. Over and beyond the Software Architect values collaboration over ivory-tower architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the architecture of a new software solution for hospital environments
- Define and evolve the overall technical stack and system architecture
- Understand and integrate the tools, platforms, and services used across the product
- Design and oversee integrations with medical hardware and their APIs
- Shape the product together with the Product Manager and CTO, aligning technical and business goals
- Ensure the platform meets high standards for scalability, security, performance, and reliability
- Guide architectural decisions during implementation and system evolution
- Mentor and coach developers through technical leadership, reviews, and knowledge sharing
- Act as the primary technical point of reference for architectural topics
Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and building production-grade software products
- Proven experience making and documenting architectural decisions
- Solid understanding of modern software architectures (web, APIs, integrations)
- Experience working with Open Source technologies and ecosystems
- Collaborative mindset and comfort working in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Experience in eHealth, HealthTech, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with hospital environments and clinical workflows
- Experience with frontend technologies (e.g. JavaScript, React) and modern backend systems
- Experience designing integrations with hardware or device APIs
