Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, offering flexibility to work remotely while supporting business operations, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, identifying trends, and evaluating business processes to support informed decision-making. The role involves conducting requirements analysis, documenting workflows, performing gap assessments, and assisting in the development of solutions that enhance operational efficiency and organizational performance. Responsibilities include preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, and monitoring the impact of changes over time. The Business Analyst will also support project planning activities, contribute to feasibility assessments, and ensure that business needs are accurately translated into actionable recommendations. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in business analysis, data interpretation, and process evaluation
  • Solid understanding of requirements gathering, documentation practices, and gap analysis
  • Excellent communication skills for preparing reports, presenting insights, and collaborating with stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools, data visualization platforms, or process improvement methodologies is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred
