As part of a phased retirement arrangement within our German Occupational Safety team, we are looking for a Safety Specialist on a fixed-term basis until December 2027. To ensure knowledge transfer, we are already sharing responsibilities today.

• As part of the German Occupational Safety team, you will support and advise managers and other responsible persons on occupational health and safety matters
• You will assist in maintaining and further developing our occupational safety management system
• Together with operational stakeholders, you will conduct regular inspections and support the analysis of safety-related incidents
• You will develop creative ideas to continuously advance occupational safety in our company and strengthen our safety culture
• Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders is part of your role, as well as participating in occupational safety committee meetings

What makes us successful together

• Qualification: Completed bachelor's degree in engineering and training as a Safety Specialist in accordance with ASiG
• Experience: Practical experience in occupational health and safety, e.g., through internships or working student positions
• Know-how: Basic knowledge of occupational safety management systems and interest in safety-related processes
• Personality: Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, structured working style, and ability to work independently. Sensitivity, perseverance, and persuasiveness. Confident in dealing with stakeholders up to Group Directors
• Language Skills: Excellent German skills (spoken and written), ideally very confident in English communication
