Description

We are currently seeking an Expert Innovative Statistics Consultant to join our Strategic Consulting Practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Biostatistician or strategic expert in clinical development to make a real-world impact by advising clients, shaping regulatory and market access strategies, and contributing to thought leadership in the industry.

  • Lead high-value consulting engagements for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device clients.
  • Provide strategic guidance on clinical development, regulatory pathways, and market access.
  • Serve as a primary client contact, developing and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with Cytel's business development and consulting teams to identify opportunities and deliver customized, impactful solutions.
  • Represent Cytel in industry forums, raising brand awareness and demonstrating thought leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic advice that integrates clinical, regulatory, and commercial perspectives.
  • Lead complex consulting projects with cross-functional teams of consultants and analysts.
  • Develop innovative, data-informed solutions using both traditional and novel approaches.
  • Build and manage client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their evolving needs.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
  • Engage regularly with senior client executives, regulatory authorities, and industry leaders.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's required, PhD preferred) in Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field; MBA, MD, or other advanced degrees are highly desirable.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in clinical trials, biostatistics, or health research.
  • Deep understanding of biopharmaceutical R&D processes and business strategy.
  • Proven experience with regulatory strategy and engagement (FDA, EMA).
  • Strong leadership and client-facing consulting experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and excellent communicator.
  • Willingness to travel and engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
