As part of our continued European expansion, we are seeking a Key Account Manager – Northern Germany to drive growth and strengthen partnerships with manufacturers of contract furniture, acoustic panels, and related interior products across the region.
Purpose of the Role
The Area Business Manager will be responsible for growing Camira's manufacturers of contract furniture, acoustic panels, and related interior products business in Northern Germany, focusing on contract furniture, acoustic applications, and workspace solutions.
This is a strategic sales role for a commercially astute, relationship-driven individual who understands the OEM environment and can translate Camira's product and design strengths into tangible business success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a regional growth strategy for Northern Germany, targeting OEMs in the contract furniture and acoustics sectors.
- Identify and win new OEM accounts through consultative, relationship-led sales.
- Manage and grow existing customers through proactive engagement, collaboration, and technical support.
- Work closely with Camira's Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing teams (Germany, Europe, and UK) to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Manage regional sales forecasts, pipelines, and KPIs to deliver consistent growth.
Market & Account Strategy
- Map and prioritise key manufacturing hubs in Northern Germany (e.g. Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Bremen, North Rhine-Westphalia).
- Build an in-depth understanding of each manufacture's product range, production process, and design priorities.
- Provide insight into market trends, product needs, and competitor activity, supporting broader European strategy.
- Collaborate with Camira's global marketing and product teams to align on new launches and manufacturer initiatives.
Brand & Relationship Building
- Represent Camira as a trusted partner to design-led manufacturers.
- Present Camira's design, sustainability, and performance story with confidence and authenticity.
- Attend relevant industry events, trade shows, and design forums to strengthen brand awareness and local connections.
Candidate Profile
A relationship-led, commercially astute professional with:
Experience
- 5+ years' experience in B2B sales or account management within contract furniture, acoustics, interiors, or materials supply.
- Strong track record in developing relationships and achieving commercial growth.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and integration within manufacturer supply chains.
- Excellent relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in German, with strong English skills for communication with UK and European colleagues.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Northern Germany and occasionally within Europe.
