Our growth journey has already brought us success in Germany, and now we are looking for a passionate and experienced Key Account Manager to strengthen our presence in this market.
Are you ready to make a real impact in the solar industry? As we expand our presence in Germany, we're looking for a hands-on Key Account Manager who can build trust, offer insight, and turn opportunities into lasting partnerships.
Your rolAs a key player in our German team, you're more than a deal closer — you're a trusted advisor. You understand the solar industry and know how to identify commercial and technical needs. From first contact to signed contract, you listen, calculate, and deliver. Your focus is on building long-term relationships that go beyond one-off transactions. You work closely with colleagues across Europe to shape the regional growth strategy.
Your responsibilitiesBuild and strengthen long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
Identify and seize business opportunities to expand our customer base — including developers, EPCs, distributors, and large-scale installers.
Act as a strategic consultant: understand customer needs, translate them into tailored solutions, and create value-driven proposals.
Negotiate and close deals that deliver mutual long-term benefit.
Collaborate closely with your colleagues in the Netherlands and your regional peers to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Stay ahead of market trends, local legislation, and competitor developments — and actively translate insights into commercial opportunities.
Participate in fairs and events in the PV industry to represent the company, build relationships with potential clients and partners.
Position PVO as the full-service solar partner of choice in the German market.

Job requirements Qualifications/requirementsYou are someone who act commercially sharp but also consultative: able to think beyond the product and provide solutions.
At least 3 years of experience in sales at a trading or distribution company. Experience in the solar industry is a plus.
Strong communicator and relationship builder — trustworthy, proactive, and professional.
Native-level fluency in German and conversational level of English (for internal communication).
Able to travel within the region.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative spirit.
Respectful and professional demeanor in all interactions.
