We are on the lookout for a Tax Manager (German Wage Tax/Global Mobility) to join the Tax Team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

• Your major focus area is German wage tax, including tax technically driven assessments and providing pragmatic implementation advice, drafting of wage tax rulings as well as handling wage tax audits.
• You will also support the organization on complex tax matters concerning globally mobile employees (e.g. for international assignments and remote/foreign hires). In particular, you will take ownership of preparing and reviewing tax assessments from a Permanent Establishment, Income Tax and Wage Tax/Payroll perspective for global mobility cases as well as advise the organization on implementation and structuring questions.
• You will collaborate closely with our Global Mobility and (International) Payroll teams to ensure full alignment across all departments.
• You will act as a senior point of contact for local teams worldwide, addressing tax-related questions with a focus on global mobility related tax topics.
• You will work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and continuously improve Delivery Hero standards in contract templates, standard clauses, and other consistent tax technical terms and provisions.

Qualifications

• You completed your studies (Bachelor's or Master's) in a related field, such as Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration, etc., at a university in Germany.
• You have advanced-level German and English language skills.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal income taxation and have acquired and developed an understanding and interest in this area.
• You are knowledgeable about German income tax law.
• You have knowledge and experience in the area of Global Mobility and Double Tax Treaties.
• You are a customer-oriented person with solid organizational skills who likes working on tasks independently.
• You are interested in working in an international environment and being in touch with all the Delivery Hero teams around the globe.
