We are looking for a Web Analytics Engineer to join our Data & AI & Automation Team. The role can be performed remotely from within Germany, with regular visits in our Stuttgart HQ.

Your responsibilities:

Web Tracking implementation:

• Create web analytics implementation concepts and technical specifications
• Understand business goals and convert them into data collection
• requirements (dataLayer)
• Implement data tracking via tag manager required for accurate data collection
• Implement 3rd party scripts required for marketing campaigns
• (Facebook, Google Ads, etc)
• Continuously increase reliability of web data collection

KPIs, web data use cases, data platform support:

• Governance for web related KPIs
• Supporting advanced web data use cases like A/B testing,
• personalization, attribution logic
• Supporting data platform team with relevant web metrics & KPIs

What you bring along:

• Bachelor degree or above in e-commerce / digital media / computer science / economics, or engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Digital Analytics focused on Lead Generation, e-Commerce and/or CRO
• 5+ years of hands-on data experience, with demonstrated increase of responsibilities over time.
• Solid understanding of state of the art digital analytics
• Understanding business goals and converting them into data collection requirements
• Creating implementation concepts and technical analytics specifications
• Implementing the tracking through the tag manager required for accurate data collection
• Knowledge of data & analytics toolchain such as Adobe Analytics / Adobe Experience Platform, Google Analytics (GA4)
• Skills in setting up tracking concepts, solution designs and implementation instructions
• Basic experience with technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Regex
• Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of peers and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams
• Set direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with grace, execute with limited information and ambiguity
• Good written and oral communication skills in English, fluent in German or Mandarin or other
• European is a plus
