**THIS IS THE JOB**
- You are a part of the global Life Science team; you will be working on the design and implementation of a new end-to-end data ecosystem for different business units of a pharmaceutical customer.
- You design viable architectures based on Microsoft Azure, AWS, Snowflake or Google and implement analyses with Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
- You are the direct point of contact for our customers, advising on large R&D projects on all issues relating to architecture topics and solution scenarios in the areas of Cloud Data Analytics Platform, Analytics and Data Engineering.
- You build cloud-native data platforms which serve as the basis for implementation of different use cases in R&D and Manufacturing.
**THIS IS WHAT WE NEED**
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable IT education.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Consultant / IT Architect in an enterprise environment.
- Proficient with relational databases (e. g. DB2, Oracle, My SQL) and ideally hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (e. g. MongoDB).
- Experience with Spark, Spark Streaming and Delta Lake.
- Profound experience in data engineering: building ETL processes, data connectivity to reporting such as big data processing (Big Data) and cloud (AWS,GCP, Azure).
- Presentation and moderation skills as well as a confident attitude with clients and other stakeholders
- Agile and solution-oriented way of working.
- Business fluent in English. German skills are a plus.
