What you'll build

We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial Product Manager (f/m/d) in Garching (Munich) to own and drive the evolution of the central Process Builder component within SAP Build Process Automation. The Process Builder is the core design environment where customers model, extend, and automate their business processes.

As Product Manager (f/m/d), you will partner with your empowered product team (engineering, design, and product experts) to shape the product strategy, discover opportunities with customers/partners/stakeholders, and deliver solutions that drive adoption, satisfaction, and measurable business outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex workflow and automation challenges, cares deeply about user experience, and is motivated by seeing customers succeed. As the market, industry, and technology are evolving rapidly with agentic AI, an AI-first and data-driven mindset will help you accelerate in your role. Specifically, you will be deeply involved in:

• Product Ownership: Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Process Builder
• Product Discovery & Delivery: Lead continuous product discovery with customers and stakeholders to uncover real user problems and opportunities. Translate insights into validated problems-to-solve (backlog items) and guide delivery with your empowered team.
• Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers, stakeholders, and partners to understand needs, collect feedback, validate solutions, and build strong reference use cases.
• Adoption & Growth: Drive product adoption and user satisfaction by ensuring the Process Builder is intuitive, powerful, and adaptable to diverse automation scenarios. Incorporate available product analytics data to inform initiatives and steer them in the right direction.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, UX design, product marketing, and other SAP Build teams to deliver cohesive experiences across the SAP Build portfolio.

What you bring

• 3-5 years Product Management experience in SaaS, workflow automation, or enterprise software, incl. end-to-end discovery & delivery along modern product management methodologies (incl. prioritization frameworks, discovery techniques, and agile methods).
• Strong knowledge of the Business Process Management domain, including BPMN 2.0 and other related concepts (e.g., Robotic Process Automation).
• First practical experience with low-code/no-code platforms and familiarity with AI/ML technologies (LLMs, agentic AI, recommendation engines) and their application in enterprise products.
• Skill-set in product analytics and telemetry to drive data-based decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and business stakeholders; Fluent English language skills, spoken and written; German is a plus.
• Beneficial: Understanding of the SAP domain, including business solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, ..) and the Business Technology Platform is a plus.
