ORAN Deployment/Integration Specialist

Job Description:

• 15+ Years' Experience in RAN / ORAN Design and Planning
• Must have Kubernetes & Linux exposure
• Knowledge in 5G/4G/ ORAN/ VRAN network architecture and interface, protocol understanding like e1c f1c
• Configured and Integration of O-RAN setup for 4G and 5G NSA, SA on client network infrastructure
• BIOS, Grub setting and OS load in Dell ICELAKE & SMC server through Idrac9
• Hands-on experience on Cloud infrastructure and RAN deployment in virtualized environment
• Experience on CU DU Integration & Commissioning is must
• Experience on Robin Platform will be plus
• Experience on loading L2, l3, rmond patches in vCU and DU
• Experience with R&D to fix the issues opened through JIRA related to site operation and deployment
• Support system integration, performance testing, system demonstration and lab trials for end-to-end system
• E2E cell site testing, validation and site performance testing
• PTP configuration on PTP switches
• Configuration of PTP as Boundary, Transparent clock and step 1, step 2 configuration
• Technical documents writing like HLD, LLD, CIQ and Proposal documents
• Expertise in RRU like NEC, MTI, KMW, Comba, Fujitsu, Benet eland sunwave
• Good Knowledge of L1 layer protocols like MAC, RLC and PHY
• Patches apply for L1, L2, L3, CU, DU, CPRI and RRH on cloud manually/using scripts
• Expertise in Core and RAN interface
• Should network design and planning experience with OEM's
• Responsible for the implementation of ORAN project in live network
• Oversee the deployment of cell sites, including site preparation, equipment installation, and integration
• Overall site integration readiness from installation and commissioning perspective starting from material request, physical installation, power on, installation acceptance, CU-DU readiness, logical definitions at core, security, IP network perspective
• Support RAN integration team related to cell site field troubleshooting by managing and coordinating field partner teams
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that all installations meet the required specifications and standards
• Perform functional field testing to verify the performance and functionality of deployed cell sites
• Manage and coordinate field teams to ensure timely and efficient deployment activities
• Coordinate with various domain teams i.e. infra, cloud, transport, tower co, active installation partners
• Python automations & PBI Dashboard preparation is plus
• Ensuring the Plan and Target is met within the time frame
• Monitor performance
• Customer Interaction
