Information Technology Infrastructure Manager

As the IT Manager Infrastructure, you will take ownership of a hybrid server and network environment and play a central role in shaping the future IT landscape.
What You'll Do
- Operate and enhance our on-premise & hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Administer Proxmox, Microsoft Hyper-V, Windows, and Linux servers
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Endpoint Central
- Support security, network, and cloud-focused projects
- Optimize firewall environments (e.g., Securepoint, OpnSense) and implement security best practices
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support for infrastructure topics
- Maintain documentation and drive automation initiatives
- Oversee backups, cleanup, decommissioning, and certificate management
- Collaborate with development teams on monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting
- Support database administration (MS SQL, MongoDB, MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis)
What You Bring
- Completed education or degree in IT, computer science, or similar
- Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, and cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of Proxmox/Hyper-V, Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, Entra ID
- Experience with firewall systems and network components (Cisco, Aruba, Unifi)
- Familiarity with monitoring & automation tools
- Bonus: Experience with database administration
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent English; German is a plus
