The North Face is looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) to join our team based in our office in Munich (Germany).

Let's Talk about the Role

As Key Account Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), you'll be responsible for driving revenue and implementing strategic plans across key accounts in our core business categories.

You'll manage relationships, support store expansion, and increase category penetration with existing partners, all while aligning with the brand's strategic direction.

How You Will Make a Difference

You will achieve this by:

  • Drive profitable sales through strong account management and leadership

  • Create, develop and present seasonal account plans based on market trends, sell-out data, and brand strategy

  • Drive differentiation, innovation, segmentation and assortments – head to toe. Sell segmented and phased assortments across channels, tiers, months & brand territories to enable differentiation by Key Accounts using plans, prelines and SMUs. 

  • Conduct quarterly business reviews, product presentations, and assortment planning.

  • Manage the Gross-To-Net process and monitor account performance.

  • Analyze sales, sell-out, performance by item, division, use this knowledge and trend direction to provide recommendations to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Establish and understanding of consumers and buying trends. Formulate guidelines for consumer centric opportunities, taking into consideration the different kind of consumers per each POS. 

  • Oversee showroom and sample coordination.

  • Collaborate with product teams to build tailored assortments based on performance insights.

Skills for Success

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in sales, with a minimum of 1-3 years Key Account Management  

  • Strong knowledge of the Outdoor and Fashion industry.

  • Deep knowledge of the Lifestyle buying groups in the DACH region. 

  • Shown strong influencing skill to work across a complex matrix organization .

  • Extensive prior experience in showroom-based sales role.

  • Proven experience with key accounts across the Region.

  • Ability to work at a strategic level within key accounts but at the same time able to manage and pay attention to the detail 

  • Strong presentation and communication skills 

  • Task orientated 

  • Strong relationship, management and negotiation skills 

  • Strategic and analytical mind-set  

  • High energy, goal oriented and driven individual 

  • Ability to prioritize and plan and team player 

  • Proficiency in German and English (C1/C2 level)
