As a Product Manager for Dedicated Servers/Bare Metal Servers at IONOS, you are responsible for the management and further development of our Dedicated Server/Bare Metal Server product offerings, as well as the related services. Tasks include integrating the latest technological developments into our products and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards and customer requirements.

Tasks

  • At least 5 years of experience in System Administration, ideally in Servers and Data Centers.
  • Management and further development of the product portfolio for Dedicated Servers/Bare Metal Servers.
  • Analysis and implementation of new server hardware technologies and optimization of the existing infrastructure.
  • Collaboration with technical teams to develop and optimize network functionalities, as well as other platform services.
  • Conducting market and competitive analyses to identify trends and new business opportunities.
  • Close collaboration with sales teams to promote and position the products, as well as support in resolving technical customer inquiries.
  • Creation and maintenance of product specifications and technical documentation.
  • Liaison with Customer Care and customers to continuously improve products based on feedback.
  • Management/coordination of technical projects.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role, ideally in the area of server technologies or IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in project management (ideally in accordance with PRINCE 2).
  • In-depth knowledge of server hardware technologies and network functionalities.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a technical understanding.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German and English.
  • Independent and solution-oriented work style with high motivation and ability to work effectively under pressure.
