Tasks:

• Responsibility for the creation of concepts for systems and subsystems
• Responsible for carrying out technical management as part of proposal processing and system development
• Responsibility for carrying out requirements analysis and management
• Responsibility for the creation of specifications
• Responsibility for carrying out system integration and error detection
• Responsibility for carrying out system tests
• Responsible for creating quantity structures and schedules
• Responsible for conducting technical proposal presentations at customer sites
• Responsible for negotiating technical content with customers, partners and suppliers
• Technical management of the technical development team
• Responsible for the definition, planning and control of work packages (IST/SOLL)
• Responsible for the coordination and creation of key system documents
• Responsible for carrying out technical reviews and audits
• Responsible for the implementation of technical risk management/claim management
• Responsible for representing the project internally and externally
• Responsible for monitoring the degree of progress and outflow of funds
• Responsible for the preparation of technical decision documents (e.g. make or buy)
• Responsible for the creation of test concepts and documents
• Responsible for planning and carrying out internal and external acceptance tests

Requirements:

• Completed technical studies
• Several years of professional experience in a technical department
• Must have experience in system engineering, requirements management, requirements engineering.
• A good Doors experience
• Experience in the technical management of projects
• High intercultural competence
• Business fluent in English and German(written and spoken), especially technical English
• Willingness to travel worldwide

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
IMPORTANT:

• Technical leadership in a software-heavy sub-project with a focus on release management, internally a team of currently 3-5 system developers and 4 IV&V employees (up to 15 in the future); externally, another 6-10 system developers and approx. 8 IV&V employees from two industry partners will be added, who will need to be involved in a technical capacity.
• Planning and development of concepts for an öAG-controlled release process (in cooperation with öAG) to ensure the six-monthly release creation for use in the integration of the Bw platforms.
  Coordination of preparatory measures for the creation of product releases (software configurations) at the integration facilities.
• Coordinate the development of a reference design that serves as the basis for release creation.
• Coordinate the block diagram (BSB) analysis: review the BSB provided by öAG, which is crucial for the integration of the Bw platforms; process and maintain the information obtained from the analysis (distribution across the three companies and internal communication between the sub-projects).
• Development of a knowledge database for internal and external use.
  Internal responsibility for the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) process: including creation of a configuration management database; networking of the integration systems (3 locations); test and installation automation.
• Implementation of the product release process creation of configurations at the three locations.
• Participation in an öAG Requirements Engineering Board (REB) with the aim of planning the product release assessment of upcoming changes, representation of the parent consortium vis-à-vis the öAG and relevant industry partners and stakeholders.
• Management of the product release process; distribution of tasks, configurations to be created, maintenance of the configuration management database.
• Central interface between the project team (PL and system development), central development, configuration management and quality.
