Your Role – What You'll Do

• Maintain and differentiate human iPSC lines into specialized cell types, with a main focus on
  cardiomyocytes
  and
  skeletal myocytes
  .
• Conduct routine quality-control (QC) assessments to ensure high standards of cell and tissue integrity.
• Perform molecular and cellular biology assays (e.g., qPCR, immunostaining), functional readouts, and data documentation.
• Help organize and manage the cell culture lab: maintain cell stocks, inventory reagents, ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different scientific disciplines and contribute to assay development, protocol optimization, and team discussions.
• Deliver high-quality experimental results within agreed timelines, supporting both internal research and external client projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• MSc in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline, with
  1–2 years of relevant research experience
  .
• Strong background in
  mammalian cell culture
  , including routine handling, expansion, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience with
  iPSC culture and differentiation
  , ideally into cardiomyocytes, skeletal myocytes, or similar lineages.
• Experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques relevant to translational research.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (peers and senior stakeholders).
• Reliable, organized and capable of delivering consistent, high-quality work under time constraints.

Preferred Skills

• Prior hands-on experience differentiating iPSCs into
  cardiomyocytes and/or skeletal myocytes
  .
• Knowledge of molecular assays such as
  qPCR, immunostaining
  , and other typical read-outs.
• Experience with
  engineered tissues, organoids, or 3D culture systems
  .
• Familiarity with
  cellular profiling methods
  (e.g., flow cytometry, FACS).
• Experience managing large-scale cell culture workflows — both
  2D and 3D systems
  .
• Previous collaboration or project experience with
  biopharmaceutical industry partners
  or in preclinical R&D environments.
