Senior PV/BESS Project developers

We're supporting a fast-growing renewable energy group seeking an experienced Senior PV/BESS Project Developer. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical and commercial expertise who is ready to take a lead in projects from early stages of development through to RTB.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from site identification to RTB stage.
  • Identify suitable sites, originate partnerships, and negotiate land agreements.
  • Secure grid access with TSOs/DSOs.
  • Oversee technical/environmental studies, permitting, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and internal compliance with timelines and budgets.
  • Handle co-development agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with authorities at all levels.
  • Represent the company in permitting discussions, consultations, and regulatory communications.
  • coordinate internal teams and external consultants across engineering, procurement, financing, legal, and environmental areas to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Support project budgeting, business cases, financial monitoring, and investment decisions.
  • represent the company in industry forums, fairs, associations, and with grid operators.

Your Profile:

  • 4-5 direct experience in project development for utility scale pv or BESS projects.
  • In depth knowledge of the full life cycle of projects from acquisition through to RTB stage.
  • Has seen a project through its full lifecycle more than once.
  • Proven team management and leadership experience.

Languages: German (Native/fluent), English (Fluent)
